Ya-Ya's Christmas Brunch 12/13/2010
We had a surprise Ya-Ya Birthday Brunch for Trina, whose birthday is on Christmas Eve.
I made a Santa Lucia Wreath Bread and brought hot chocolates. We had a nice time together.
Trina almost didn't come. I had to call her and beg her to come over. She did.

Cold December
It's been one cold December thus far. We had 16 degrees this morning. Had a very fun day though. I drove to Reston where Mark works and met the people in his office and saw his office. I met their interior decorator, aka Judy. She and a former co-worker decorated their office for Christmas and it was like a winter wonderland....just beautiful. They said it took 9 hours to decorate. There were elves, and reindeer, and a Christmas tree mounted on the door, and all kinds of very cute and beautiful arrangements and door hangings etc.
After the office visit, we went to Reston Town Center and had lunch at Uncle Julios. We had a nice little lunch date and it was good food. I took Mark back to work and I drove home, stopping in Occoquan for a few minutes to look around at Christmas things! Of course!
