What Victoria Wanted for Christmas this year

Victoria wanted Christmas stockings. So I made Christmas stockings. I got my idea from a cute stocking held by one of the Byer's Choice Caroling Dolls. I have a grandpa figure who holds a stocking in his hand, and I took my idea from that. She and Andrew love them. I am glad they are done.

A Christmas Tree from Home Depot

This Saturday, following our ward Christmas party in the morning, a baptism following that, and then a little lunch, we went Christmas tree hunting. All the trees at Lowe's were so short! So we went to Home Depot and found our 2011 Christmas tree.

Thanksgiving 2011

This year we were able to celebrate Thanksgiving with our long-time friends, the Cherry family, and with the Jensen Family who live in our ward. Brother Jensen serves in the bishopric with Mark.

Rippon Lodge

Rippon Lodge is is a newly acquired home by Prince William County. It was built in 1747 by Richard Blackburn. It is one of the oldest homes in Prince William County. The graveyard on its property is spooky and interesting.
