Happy Holidays, from the Rowberry Family

Of course you have to wear the Santa Hats in front of the tree--but since we only had 3 of them, I am wearing a green wreath on my head--difficult to see, but there is festivity for all of us!

Australian Fabric Mini-quilt

My friend, Janet Cherry, made me this wonderful little wall quilt for Christmas! She and her husband came to visit us while we were living in Australia and we picked out the fabric together while there. Well, about 4 plus years later, and 3 children later, for Janet, she made me a little quilt and special ordered the Australia Heart button in the center square. What a great friend!

Temple Square, Salt Lake City, Utah

On Sunday, December 6, 2009, we visited Temple Square following the Christmas Devotional at the Conference Center. What a great way to start the Christmas season!

24 inches of snow, December 18 and 19, 2009

It is rare that we get a storm of this magnitude in Northern Virginia, but get it, we did! Twenty-four inches over about 32 hours of storm time. School was cancelled for the next 3 days, making Christmas break a full two weeks!

Our 28th Anniversary

We celebrated our 28th Anniversary in Old Town Alexandria, VA. We went to a French Creperie (sp?) and had a delicious dinner. Following the dinner, we saw Forever Plaid at the Little Theatre of Alexandria. When we left the theatre that evening, the big snowstorm of 2009 had been falling for over a half hour! We did make it home safely though. How lucky we are to have each other. We do still love each other.

Grandpa Mark gets to love his little baby Nathaniel Bradley Frost. He was such a good sleeper and such a nice baby! Thanks Andrew and Victoria!
