While Mark was working one day, I went to the Texas Art Teachers Convention--yup, I just walked in and looked at some of the displays made by students. This was one of the styrofoam heads decorated according to the artist's desire. There were a couple hundred of these. Was really fun.

This is at the shopping mall on the River Walk. The River Walk is about 3 miles long, and you can take this great little boat ride and the guide tells you lots of interesting things about sites along the way. We went at night when there were lights in every tree and it was very beautiful.

Here we are at the Alamo. It was a big celebration with Veteran's Day coming up. There were servicemen and vets everywhere. This is where Davey Crockett died.
