Blanket for Lauren Ross's baby girl

I made a little flannel blanket for Lauren. It's flannel, a white background with little gray and pink elephants.

Baby shower for Sis. Ross

Last night we had a baby shower for one of
Lexy's YW leaders, Sis. Ross. The YW
sponsored the party and Sis. Gillis and I
pulled off the food. There was a nice turnout
of women and girls. Sis. Ross got a lot of
nice little clothes and accessories. Just 2 1/2
weeks to go now!

The birds and the 3 eggs in the egg cups are handpainted wooden eggs from Poland--Mark brought them back.

Last Saturday we went to Occoquan Regional Park to the opening day of the BATTING CAGE. OK, we just did slow-pitch softball, but we had a great time.

Lemon Mousse Cheesecake

Here is another Easter treat--Lemon Mousse Cheesecake. It has a luscious nilla wafer and ginger cookie crust and lemon curd swirls throughout a creamy, cheesy lemon mousse. Again, I think it's just the third time I've made it in 20 years, kudos to Bon Appetit Magazine 1989.

This is an Easter lamb cake. It wasn't made with the original Czech recipe batter, but rather with a Southern Living Butter Pecan batter which was truly delicious. Thanks to Brett, I have this lovely mold from the Czech Republic.
