Waterfront Property

On Saturday, Tropical Storm Hannah made its way through our area. I had a flower
pot that had about 8 inches of stored rain it. That's a lot of water. It was a lot of rain!
We were lucky the storm had downgraded from a hurricane so we didn't have trees
down, power outages and lots of damage.

I think Lexy is enjoying our backyard stream.

Canning Peaches

On Saturday, I finished canning peaches. I think I did 38 quarts and at least a dozen half pints.
I did some peach jam and will make some peach pit jelly this week. I don't know why I do
this to myself, except that I always have and I guess I enjoy it. They taste good and they look
nice on the shelves, but I think I enjoy the accomplishment I feel the most.

A Knitwit Creation

Lexy saw these being demonstrated on a Martha Stewart show a couple of weeks ago. We went to Target and bought some funky socks and made a crazy Knitwit.

At Route 11 Potato Chips Store, Middletown, VA

Mark and Lexy may just turn into a spud if they stand there long enough.
Look what happened to Jacque!
